Established in 1892, our adult sides play a mixture of League (Div 9 East - Two Counties) and friendly fixtures throughout the Summer, as well as the odd indoor game in cold, long winters.
Our relatively new Womens' and Junior sections train and play too, with a mix of their own indoor and outdoor fixtures over the course of the year.
We're always on the lookout for new players - young and not-so-young, new to the game or long in the tooth - supporters and volunteers. If you'd like to play the game or just watch, help us out on match days or behind the scenes, then get in touch!
Nick Holyman
Club Captain for 2026, Nick Holyman is an 'experienced' campaigner, having come to the game relatively late in life and then spent a number of years at other clubs in the north of Essex, learning the game ready one day to play somewhere proper. Batter and Wicket Keeper, with a 100 to his name in 2025 as part of a record Dedham partnership of 245 with Freddie Philpott against Boxted CC
Stu Austin
Club Vice Captain, otherwise known as 'Laptop', Stu has been with us for a few years now and has made the no.3 position his own with a number of great performances there, including an amazing 107* in 2025, away at Saxmundham, to take us to an unexpected victory. As reliable in the field as with the bat, Stu also organises our annual tours.
Nick Alldread
Club Vice Captain Nick Alldread is the longest-serving regular amongst the Dedham CC ranks, having been an ever-present since his teen years. Our Player of the Year in 2025, Nick finished 6th in the league bowling stats and, with a hundred to his name, can handle a bat as good as any.
